There is nothing quite like the pleasure of bringing to life an artwork for others to enjoy.

I  began my artistic career in the field of decorative arts. After much persuasion from a friend I showed her, on our lounge room table, how  to paint. Soon I had a few  friends painting and eventually this led to a home studio and two classes per week. Ten years later and that friend is still coming each week to create  art and have fun.

I plan to continue my work in  graphite, pastels , and genesis oils, concentrating on portraits. The thrill of capturing the beauty and essence of  a person is too much to resist.  When I draw or paint for others I am reminded each time of the joy that an artwork can bring.

My work can be found in private collections both nationally and internationally.

I am convenor and an exhibitor at the Hampton Park Artists Exhibition. This exhibition is held annually at the Hampton Park Community House. Artists of all levels and all abilities are invited to enter artworks. Please contact me for details.
